So, I just found out something quite amusing just now.
We were discussing about something when suddenly, a friend (let's call him A), made a statement about certain people being bitches.
'So if a person, say your colleague, is being a hypocrite/bitch, he's bound to be *** then?' I asked.
'People who are being hypocritical, he might not be ***. But people who are *** are bound to be hypocritical bitches,' A stated.
This statement is no longer an opinion, it has become a certain perspective. A case or two can instill certain views into one's mind and thus becomes a perspective. Why not listen to more than, let's say, five cases, then back up and finally conclude your statement? I'm sure that would sound even more convincing. I'd have nothing to rebut.
After this argument, another topic was brought up to divert it.
I'm pretty much amazed by what people can do to avoid collisions. I'm starting to wonder when will they have the balls to take an argument like a responsible adult, or rather man. Just freakin' own up to what you've said.
The reason this certain topic is always brought up is just because of me. Somehow I feel that I don't even have the rights to be angry, needless to say frustrated. Tease can accumulate so much when it suddenly sounds offensive.
So what can we do?
- Walk away and stop listening.
- Stay and take it.
Both choices don't seem to be working for me right now. If I chose numero une, I'll have even more stuffs to be discussed and picked on. If the latter, I don't even know what face to make anymore. The face would become a poker, and would become very ugly.
This would all have to be my own fault, for being one of the main laughing stock of the group.
Sorry if I somehow offended any of you, I'm just stating my OPINIONS only.
